At a nominal speed of 3000 rpm, the rotor reaches commanded velocity without field weakening, while positional deviation stays within ±120 arcsec. The integrated encoder offers 19/16-bit single-turn and multi-turn resolution, so the controller receives 524,288 discrete shaft positions per turn and can track up to 65536 revolutions without indexing. Because the sensor follows the EnDat 2.2 inductive protocol, it resists contamination and retains position through battery-backed memory when power is removed. The design uses a multi-turn counting mechanism, and no functional-safety certification is claimed. Size code 2 and length code 3 determine the magnetic stack, balancing inertia against dynamic response. A smooth shaft end minimizes stress concentrations, and the absence of an oil seal limits deployment to clean, dry atmospheres.

The motor uses a built-in double angular connector that swivels so cables can exit at the required angle. A separated encoder and power interface keeps feedback wiring apart from motor conductors, which helps reduce electrical noise. Thermal management relies on self-cooling, eliminating external blowers and allowing continuous duty within the rated temperature rise. For vertical or safety-critical axes, the integrated brake supplies 2.2 Nm of static holding torque, keeping the load fixed whenever the drive is disabled.
