The motor uses a liquid-cooled A-side flange that extracts heat directly at the mounting interface, allowing continuous output without external fans. A nominal speed limit of 2000 rpm sets the operating speed the connected drive must support, and the optical feedback chain uses Optical EnDat signals with protocol revision 2.1 for closed-loop accuracy. The winding configuration is a three-phase synchronous winding, allowing the motor to operate as a synchronous servo unit with compatible control hardware. Internally, the encoder stores absolute position across 4096 revolutions, eliminating homing after power cycles. For static holding requirements, the motor depends on external brakes because an internal brake is not present, and no oil seal is fitted at the shaft. A dedicated mounting flange secures the frame, and revision 3 identifies the current production release.
