The motor uses a 142 mm square mounting flange and length code 7 to match common machine interfaces in its frame class. An angled (swivel) connector routes the connection laterally, which can make cable routing easier where rear clearance is limited. A special-purpose holding brake locks the smooth shaft when power is removed to reduce drift on vertical or suspended axes. For travel beyond one revolution, the encoder stores multi-turn 4096 revs, so the axis can retain absolute turn information after shutdown. The unit is supplied without an oil seal, uses revision 3 electronics, mounts by flange, and relies on the reinforced A-side bearing for long-term mechanical stability.
