In automated packaging lines, assembly stations, or material-handling gantries, the motor converts regulated armature current into precise rotation, allowing the machine controller to position loads quickly and maintain commanded speeds under feedback supervision during repeated production cycles.

The motor uses a flange measuring 142 mm, so machine frames with that pilot can accept the housing without adapter rings. A keyed shaft end secures torque transfer to couplings or timing pulleys without slippage during acceleration or deceleration. Nominal operating velocity reaches 2200 rpm, giving a balance between torque output and thermal limits for feeders or indexers. The stator body carries a mounting flange, so axial alignment is maintained by the pilot surface during assembly, and cable routing remains compact around nearby machine members. Internal position tracking relies on a single-turn code disk, so absolute position is available within one revolution while extended counts are maintained in the controller. Because the design omits a holding brake and an oil seal, the motor is best suited for horizontal or clean-enclosure axes where back-driving forces and fluid ingress are not a concern.
