Internal interpolation uses a 13/0 bit structure, which provides single-turn resolution and does not include multi-turn counting. The housing is arranged for flange mounting, and the standard 8LSA configuration uses standard bearings rather than reinforced ones. It is also supplied without a holding brake and without an oil seal, which reduces friction at the shaft.
