In continuous operation, the shaft reaches a rated speed of 3000 rpm, which suits medium-diameter pulleys or gears without pushing the motor beyond normal operating speed. Heat is removed by self-cooling with free air circulation, so external blowers or liquid jackets are not required when ambient airflow is available. Mechanical mounting uses a 100 mm square flange for alignment with the machine frame, and torque can be held by a standard holding brake when the drive is disabled.
