Combined with a mechanical precision of 10 arcmin, it supports repeatable indexing in moderate-accuracy tasks such as carton erection or palletizing. The motor has no holding brake, so static load retention must be provided by drive torque or an external locking device. Power and signal connections use connector-based hardware, the unit has a keyed shaft end for secure torque transfer, and the design is supplied without an oil seal while using standard bearings.
