A flange dimension of 100 mm provides a consistent reference surface for alignment with gearboxes or belt drives. Power and feedback exit through a single-cable hybrid solution, and the mating side uses a factory-fitted connector. Thermal management relies on self-cooling with free air circulation, eliminating external blowers in most duty cycles. Rotor position is detected by an inductive EnDat sensor, and the signal conforms to version 2.2, allowing bidirectional communication with modern servo drives for automatic calibration and electronic nameplate transfer. The motor does not include an internal holding brake, so static load retention must be provided by the drive or an external locking device. Encoder resolution is 19/0 bits for single-turn and multi-turn counting, supporting fine incremental moves in indexing tables. A smooth shaft eases coupling to shrink-fit hubs or collets, and the feedback tracks only one mechanical turn, indicated by the single-turn capability. Connection hardware uses a keyed circular connector. The absence of reinforced bearings helps keep inertia low for rapid acceleration profiles.
