B & R Automation's 8LSA35.R2060D000-3 is a three-phase synchronous motor in the 8LS Synchronous Motors series. It is intended for positioning and speed-control duties in industrial automation systems that use servo drives for coordinated motion. Its synchronous design supports accurate speed regulation when paired with a compatible drive controller. The motor uses a flange mount for machine attachment, and its smooth shaft transfers torque directly to couplings or gear stages. The unit is identified as designation 8LSA and is supplied in product revision 3.

The motor has a rated speed of 6000 rpm and a nominal current of 2.2 A. At that operating point, it produces 1005 W of nominal output power and 1.6 Nm of continuous torque. During short load surges, current can rise to 13.6 A, while stall values are limited to 3.2 A and 2.3 Nm. Cooling is handled by self-cooling with free-air circulation, and the winding inductance is 15.6 mH, which influences current rise during dynamic operation. The absence of a holding brake means load retention must be provided elsewhere when the motor is not energized.
