The 8LSA35.D9060S000-3 is a three-phase synchronous motor manufactured by B&R Automation within the 8LS Synchronous Motors series. It is designed for dynamic industrial axes and converts electrical power into controlled mechanical rotation for positioning tasks in packaging lines, pick-and-place modules, and material transfer systems. The standard 8LSA construction supports servo performance for fast and accurate motion while avoiding the added mass associated with reinforced bearing arrangements. This makes the motor suitable for applications that need responsive acceleration, precise speed control, and compact mechanical integration.

The motor reaches a rated speed of 6000 rpm, which supports short cycle times in high-throughput equipment. Heat is removed by a self-cooling design that relies on free air circulation, so no external blower is required. Absolute position is retained through a multi-turn counter that records up to 4096 revs, allowing the axis to retain position information after power is restored and reducing the need for a return-to-home sequence.
