By pairing resolver feedback with a matched inverter, the motor converts electrical commands into accurately metered torque for precise position and velocity control inside distributed automation cells. Its flange-mounted format also helps it fit machine sections where installation space is limited and direct coupling is preferred.
Continuous operation ratings describe how the 8LSA motor behaves under nominal load. At a rated speed of 6000 rpm, it delivers 628 W and 1 Nm while drawing 1.37 A. The design yields a torque constant of 0.73 Nm/A, so output torque follows current in a linear manner. Heat is removed through self-cooling by free air circulation, eliminating the need for external blowers. A 91.3 mm flange and a keyed shaft support direct connection to machine elements, and the angled swivel connector helps route cabling away from nearby modules. No oil seal is fitted, so the installation should prevent lubricant ingress. A standard holding brake secures the shaft during power-off, and resolver sensing supplies commutation data.
