The motor reaches a rated speed of 6000 rpm, which supports fast cycle times on lightweight loads. Heat is removed by self-cooling with free circulation, so no external fan or liquid circuit is required. A flange dimension of 91.3 mm sets the mounting interface and matches machinery designed for IEC size 90 frames. Feedback is supplied by an inductive EnDat encoder that communicates through EnDat 2.1 and provides single-turn and multi-turn data at 19/12 bits of resolution, allowing tight digital position loops. Power and signal lines are routed through a single connector with a swivel angled connection, which helps route cables in compact machine spaces. The smooth shaft end supports backlash-free clamping hubs, and the length code 4 indicates the stator stack depth used for the required torque.

The encoder stores up to 4096 revs of multi-turn information, so absolute position is retained after power loss. A standard holding brake secures the axis when the drive is disabled, which is useful on vertical loads and parked positions. The motor is supplied in revision 3. It is built without an oil seal, so the front bearing should be protected from coolant splash in wet zones. The mounting flange supports accurate positioning on machine frames, and the compact housing suits installations with limited space.
