The integrated feedback unit resolves 4096 (12-bit) mechanical revolutions and communicates through EnDat 2.2, so absolute position is available immediately after power-up. A Multi-turn functional safety format lets the encoder store turn count information that remains valid during power loss, supporting safe-stop functions mandated by machinery standards. Positional fidelity is held within ±65", which is adequate for indexing tables and differential belt sections that cannot tolerate cumulative error. During continuous operation the rotor reaches 2200 rpm; this nominal speed matches the torque-current profile of ACOPOS inverters and keeps switching losses low. There is no holding brake, no additional POWERLINK connection, and both module length and size are coded 4, simplifying cabinet planning across multiple axes.

The mechanical envelope tolerates an axial thrust of 2300 N, so the motor can drive ball screws or helical couplings without separate thrust bearings. Housing and internal components withstand shocks up to <=2,000 m/s² and vibrations limited to <=200 m/s² / <=600 m/s² depending on frequency, allowing direct mounting on moving gantries. A hardwired emergency-stop loop is implemented with Hardwired safety technology, eliminating latency associated with fieldbus diagnostics. The shaft end is smooth with no special machining, and the design omits both an oil seal and special shaft options to minimize friction and maintenance requirements while still supporting inductive operating principles that favor long bearing life.
