The ZK7000-0105-1010 is an industrial motor extension cable manufactured by Beckhoff within the ZK Motor Cables series. Intended for EtherCAT P installations, the assembly extends power and real-time communication between distributed servo axes and I/O modules while routing the supply and process data through a single line. The product functions as an extension cable with integrated feed-through, allowing quick coupling between cabinet interfaces and field devices without rewiring. Its combined connection reduces the number of separate cables required between compatible components.

This cable is supplied in a fixed length of 1.0 m, making it suitable for short jumper segments inside machines or between neighboring terminal boxes. The outer jacket is a durable PUR sheath that resists oil and abrasion during machine operation. Internally, the conductor layout uses a 1 × 4 × AWG 22 twisted quad that maintains controlled impedance for EtherCAT P communication. The assembly supports rated voltages up to 50 V AC/60 V DC and carries a continuous current of 3 A at 40 °C, allowing power and 24 V auxiliary signals to reach compact actuators from a single source. The conductor resistance corresponds to the 0.34 mm² cross-sectional area. Its US 24 V DC and UP 24 V DC coding supports the power arrangement used by compatible Beckhoff devices.

The field terminations are premolded with male and female M8 circular connectors. Both ends use the same eight-millimeter interface size and mechanical coding 1, preventing reversed polarity when connected to matching ports. The interface provides 4 dedicated EtherCAT P pins that carry differential data and supply lines through the same connector. Each connector has an IP65/IP67 rating, protecting the contacts against dust, water jets, and temporary immersion when properly connected. The fixed-installation design avoids repeated flexing of the 0.34 mm² conductors, while the compact M8 connector geometry requires little space at cabinet and machine interfaces. Feed-through continuity is maintained along the entire cable, supporting line-topology daisy chaining without signal regeneration.
