The IE6002-0000 extends bit transfer capabilities using RS232 connections and supports a nominal voltage of 24 V DC. As part of Beckhoff's IE Extension Box Series, it is designed to handle data transfer rates ranging from 1200 to 115,200 baud. The extension box can operate in temperatures between 0 and 55°C and has a bit distortion of less than 3%.
