The Beckhoff EP6002-0002 from the EP Digital Input Modules series offers a robust interface for industrial automation. It features EtherCAT protocol, full duplex TxD and RxD communication, and an M12 socket connection while meeting EMC standards. The module provides two independent data channels with baud rates from 300 to 115200 and reliably operates from -25 to 60 C. Weighing about 165 g, it includes 864-byte receive and 128-byte transmit buffers.
