The EP2316-0008 from Beckhoff offers 8 digital inputs and 8 digital outputs, and it supports a rated load voltage of 24 V DC. Part of the EP Digital Input Modules, this module uses the EtherCAT protocol and accepts ohmic, inductive or lamp loads with a 10 us input filter.
It features a 25-pin D-sub socket for signal connections and dual M8 sockets for EtherCAT links with 500 V isolation. It measures 30 x 126 x 26.5 mm without connectors and draws a nominal 120 mA.
