Beckhoff EL5021 from the EL EtherCAT Terminals series is a versatile terminal with a 24-bit counter capacity. It offers a single encoder connection with 1 Vpp differential inputs and a 250 kHz input frequency while drawing about 120 mA from the E-bus. At 55 g, it has IP20 protection and meets EN EMC and shock standards.
