The EK1101-0000 from Beckhoff is an EtherCAT coupler with a 1 us delay and a 24 V DC supply. Part of the EK EtherCAT Couplers series, it transfers 100 Mbit/s data via Ethernet cable. It links terminals over 100 m and supports 4096 IDs.
The device uses 2 x M8 bus interfaces and draws 70 mA plus E-bus current. It is meant for industrial automation and can support up to 65534 terminals. Hexadecimal ID switches and diagnostic LEDs assure network coupling.
