The EK1100-0000 from Beckhoff is a coupler of the EK EtherCAT Couplers series designed for integration in robust EtherCAT networks. It supports a data transfer rate of 100 Mbit/s and connects up to 65,534 EtherCAT terminals. Featuring a durable polycarbonate housing for DIN rail installation with IP20 protection, it supplies 2000 mA of E-bus current via 2 x M8, shielded interfaces and supports distances up to 100 m with an approx. 1 microsecond delay.
