The CX8100 series of Embedded PCs manufactured by Beckhoff represents an advanced lineup featuring devices with fast CPUs, TwinCAT 3 programmability, and expanded main memory. Available in four distinct configurations, each tailored for various industrial applications, these PCs support protocols such as EtherCAT (slave), serial communication, Ethernet, and BACnet. CX8100 devices can function as decentralized controllers with automatic recognition for K-bus or E-bus connections. They run on the Microsoft Windows Embedded Compact 7 operating system and are powered by a 32-bit ARM Cortex-A9, 800 MHz processor. Each CX8100 embedded PC includes an integrated 1-second UPS for energy backup during supply voltage failures, making them reliable and efficient high-performance controllers.
