CP7900-1400-0010 by Beckhoff

The CP7900-1400-0010 is a panel PC produced by Beckhoff within the CP Panel PC Systems series. It combines an industrial CPU, fieldbus interfaces, and a projected-capacitive touch screen so that it can serve as the local human-machine interface on automated lines, batching skids, or packaging stations. By housing computing power directly on the machine, the unit removes the need for a separate control cabinet display and shortens signal paths between the controller and on-screen diagnostics.

A nominal supply of 24 VDC is routed through a 4-pin M12 connector rated for up to 16 A; conductors up to 0.75 mm² can be fitted to the field-assembled plug. When the touch screen is used for direct digital control, the device can process feedback signals at a maximum DDC rate of 50 kHz, allowing high-resolution sampling of push buttons, jog wheels, or analog sensors wired to the PLC. The front USB port complies with USB 2.0 and transfers data at 480 Mbit/s through an internal hub that exposes eight USB-E contacts, simplifying updates from USB drives or the connection of barcode scanners.

The aluminum housing is sealed to IP65, so washdown water or airborne dust cannot reach the electronics while the panel is operating on the machine frame. Immunity to industrial radio-frequency fields meets EN 61000-6-2, and radiated emissions conform to EN 61000-6-4 for installation in mixed-voltage cabinets. The front plate has a shock rating of 5 G for 30 ms, helping keep the display functional on stamping presses and mobile platforms. Four M6 × 18 mm mounting studs anchor the unit to swing arms or support brackets. The DVI-I interface drives remote monitors up to 50 m away, allowing status information to be mirrored in control rooms without signal boosters.
