The CP7812-0001 is a panel PC manufactured by Beckhoff within the CP Panel PC Systems series. It brings the computing core, touch display, and field connections together in a sealed front panel so that machine operators can run visualization, diagnostics, and control tasks directly at the installation point. Serving as both an HMI and a controller, it reduces enclosure depth and cabling complexity for packaging lines, material-handling stations, and other distributed automation nodes where conventional box PCs are impractical.

The unit is powered from a nominal 24 VDC field supply delivered through a 4-pole M12 connector, eliminating the need for an internal power brick. Visual output is routed through a DVI-D interface that terminates on a 19-pole M16 bulkhead, while the integrated TFT panel provides sharp, low-glare images for operators. Shielded external video cabling also helps protect display signals from electromagnetic noise generated by nearby industrial equipment.
