CP7711-0001-0030 by Beckhoff

The CP7711-0001-0030 is a panel PC manufactured by Beckhoff for the CP Panel PC Systems series. It combines an industrial touchscreen, computing hardware, and fieldbus connectivity so that machine builders can run TwinCAT or other real-time software directly on a cabinet door or support arm. By integrating visualization, local control logic, and data routing in one sealed unit, it reduces panel wiring and provides a durable user station for conveyors, filling machines, or packaging cells.

The communication layer includes 2 x RJ45 Gigabit interfaces. Each port supports line lengths up to 100 m and transfers data at a peak rate of 1000 Mbit/s, enabling simultaneous control traffic and diagnostics on separate VLANs. A single 4-pin M12 connector accepts the control supply and is rated for currents up to 16 A, allowing inrush and accessory loads to use one pluggable feed. Nominal operating power is drawn from a 24 VDC source, which is compatible with common cabinet power buses and simplifies connection to a UPS. Field wiring can use conductors up to 1.5 mm², and network connections are supported by automatic crossover detection. The RJ45 LEDs provide link and activity feedback without requiring the enclosure to be opened.

The aluminum housing has an ingress protection rating of IP65 on the front, resisting low-pressure water jets and airborne particles in washdown or dusty areas. Program and operating system images reside on a CFast card that can be accessed through a gasketed service flap, reducing downtime during software maintenance. The unit has a shock resistance of 5 G, allowing direct mounting on vibrating machinery through four 4 x M6 x 18 mm mounting holes. Legacy peripherals such as barcode readers can be connected through the integrated 1 x RS232 port. The projected-capacitive touchscreen supports multi-finger gestures for modern HMI layouts. Its sealed front surface also allows operators to interact with the display while the internal computing components remain protected from contaminants.
