The CP7703-0021-0040 is a fanless panel PC manufactured by Beckhoff in the CP Panel PC Systems series. This all-in-one device combines an industrial computer, touchscreen, and display, allowing it to act as the local HMI and soft PLC on assembly lines, packaging stations, or material-handling work cells. Mounting the computer directly on the machine keeps control functions close to sensors and actuators, shortens fieldbus runs, and preserves cabinet space in installations that must tolerate washdown spray or airborne dust.

The unit is powered by a 22-30 VDC source that connects through a keyed 4-pin M12 receptacle rated for 16 A. Gigabit interfaces deliver network throughput up to 100/1000 Mbit/s, and each port supports standard cable runs of up to 100 m for flexible placement within a machine or on a plant backbone. The system provides 2 independent Ethernet channels for separating control and service traffic or daisy-chaining field devices. An RS-232 serial interface permits connection to legacy barcode scanners or scale electronics. The chassis tolerates shocks of 5 G for 30 ms, supporting operation around presses, feeders, and moving equipment. It also withstands vibration amplitudes of up to 0.5 G across the 58-500 Hz frequency range, helping maintain stable operation on moving gantries and other vibration-prone machinery.
