The CP6909-0001-0000 is a fanless Panel PC assembled by Beckhoff for the CP Panel PC Systems series. Designed as a front-mounted operator interface, it combines an industrial display, an integrated single-board computer, and field-ready I/O connectors to support visualization and machine control tasks directly on the production floor. By merging processing power with an integrated touchscreen, the unit eliminates the need for a separate HMI terminal and streamlines cabinet layouts in distributed automation systems.

The electronics are supplied from a regulated 24 VDC rail, and undervoltage is avoided as long as at least 22 V reaches the pluggable terminal. A field-replaceable fuse rated at 4 A guards the internal power path, while the circular power connector can safely carry up to 16 A to support inrush or auxiliary loads. The aluminum front panel is sealed to IP65, so washdown sprays or airborne particulates cannot reach the display or the capacitive keys. One DVI extension port sends a mirrored image to a remote monitor, and a single USB-B device socket enables service access without opening the enclosure. Two downstream USB-A ports provide connectivity for an operator keyboard or barcode scanner, and both use the USB 2.0 signaling rate.

The rear housing conforms to IP20, making it suitable for installation inside a protected cabinet where convection cooling is available. Field wiring lands on spring terminals that accept conductors up to 1.5 mm², accommodating common 16 AWG control cabling. The 7-inch panel employs a TFT active-matrix screen for consistent brightness across wide viewing angles, and user input is captured through a single-touch resistive sensor that responds to gloved hands. One additional USB extension header supports docking modules such as RFID readers. All USB channels use the Universal Serial Bus 2.0 protocol, simplifying the connection of compatible peripherals. The front-mounted format places the display and controls within reach while the rear connections remain protected inside the cabinet.
