The CP6907-0001-0010 is a panel-mounted industrial PC built by Beckhoff and included in the CP Panel PC Systems series. The unit integrates a processor platform with a color display so that supervisory control, data acquisition, and local visualization can be performed without an external computer. By combining computing and display functions inside a compact housing, it acts as the front end of a machine, enabling operators to issue commands, review process trends, and interface with field I/O directly on the factory floor.
The unit uses a TFT display that offers clear graphics and wide viewing angles for operator guidance. Electrical power is supplied by a 24 VDC control circuit, and the electronics remain functional down to 22 V, permitting operation on lightly loaded power buses. Power enters through a five-pin connector rated for 16 A, providing ample capacity for startup inrush and peripheral loads. The aluminum front is sealed to IP65, allowing washdown cleaning when the unit is installed in a cabinet door, while the rear has IP20 protection for convection cooling inside the enclosure. Internal components can operate at ambient temperatures up to +55 °C, supporting continuous service near motors, drives, or other heat sources.
Spring terminals accept conductors up to 1.5 mm², providing secure connections for power and control wiring. Signal integrity over distance is maintained by a DVI connection that can extend to 50 m when the recommended cabling is used. USB peripherals are supported under the 2.0 standard, and direct connections can extend up to 5 m. Active repeater modules on the USB-E interface allow longer connections comparable to the supported DVI distance. The unit can be transported and stored at temperatures from -25 °C to +65 °C. Its conformal coating tolerates ambient humidity levels up to 95 percent without condensation.
