The CP3913-0000 is a fanless panel PC supplied by Beckhoff within the CP Panel PC Systems series. It combines an industrial touchscreen, computing hardware, and field-cabling interfaces in a single housing intended for machine-level visualization and control. When mounted on a production line, the unit serves as a human-machine interface that executes the TwinCAT runtime, collects process data, and forwards commands to distributed I/O. Beckhoff builds the front panel from anodized aluminum and seals the assembly so it can withstand washdown conditions commonly found in packaging, food-processing, and material-handling cells.

The computer is energized from a 24 VDC control supply. The voltage can drop to 22 VDC at the plug without shutting down the system, simplifying the design of long DC bus runs. Power enters through a 4-pin M12 socket, allowing the use of premolded cordsets rated for motion. Internal fusing permits a steady draw of up to 16 A, supporting the high-brightness backlight and auxiliary USB peripherals. With a front-panel classification of IP65, the electronics remain protected against dust and low-pressure water spray. Wiring guidelines permit separation from motor cables, while the maximum conductor bundle is 4 × 0.75 mm² and the grounding conductor must be at least 4 mm² for fault clearing.

Electromagnetic compatibility follows EN 61000-6-4 for emissions and EN 61000-6-2 for immunity, allowing the panel to operate near inverters or relays without external filters. A DVI-I port drives a remote monitor over 24-AWG cable runs of up to 50 m. The USB-E extension also reaches 50 m when routed through a CAT 5 eight-wire link that terminates at the 8-pin receptacle. The connector block, including its strain relief, weighs 3.1 kg, keeping arm-mounted installations within practical handling limits. Touch input is detected by a projected-capacitive sensor that supports glove operation while preserving the clarity of the laminated glass surface.
