The CP2913-0000 is a 13-inch panel PC manufactured by Beckhoff within the CP Panel PC Systems series. Designed for front-mounting on electrical enclosures, the unit integrates display, processor, and fieldbus interfaces so that it can run visualization software while directly exchanging data with PLCs. In automated machinery and process equipment it acts both as an operator terminal and as an embedded controller, simplifying cabinet layouts by eliminating a separate computer and monitor.

Protection and power figures define the installation envelope. The aluminum bezel carries a front rating of IP65, so dust and low-pressure water jets cannot reach the touchscreen, whereas the rear of the housing remains at IP20, matching standard cabinet interiors. Continuous service is specified from 0 °C up to +55 °C, and storage is allowed down to -20 °C and up to +65 °C. The electronics tolerate ambient moisture up to 95% relative humidity without condensation. A pluggable terminal accepts the system's nominal supply of 24 VDC, and the same connector accommodates control wiring up to 1.5 mm². These limits let the panel share low-voltage power rails that already feed sensors and I/O slices.

Application performance is determined by current draw and signal reach. The power input may carry up to 16 A, allowing external devices such as hard disks or COM modules to be fed through the internal supply. During transport or operation the chassis withstands shocks of 5 G for 30 ms, so it can be mounted on moving gantries or mobile service carts. For distributed operator posts, the DVI line can be routed 50 m to a remote monitor, and USB signals can travel the same 50 m through an active extender or 5 m when connected directly. Data throughput on the extended USB channel remains at 480 Mbit/s, enabling use of high-speed storage or machine-vision cameras without adding a separate industrial hub.
