The C6930-1003-0020 is a compact industrial PC manufactured by Beckhoff within the C6 Industrial PC Units series. Designed for DIN-rail installation inside electrical enclosures, the unit combines CPU, memory, and standard field interfaces to execute real-time control, visualization, and data acquisition tasks in automated production lines. By placing deterministic processing power close to drives, sensors, and I/O terminals, it reduces network latency and supports coordinated machine sequences, recipe handling, and edge analytics on the plant floor.

Power is supplied at 24 V DC through an 8-pin connector rated for 8 A that accepts conductors up to 1.5 mm². The aluminum housing has an IP20 protection rating, so the computer is intended for installation inside a cabinet that prevents exposure to dust and splashing water. Network connectivity is provided by two RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet ports, and each connection supports cable runs of up to 100 m with Cat-5e or higher twisted-pair cable. Four USB 3.0 sockets allow removable drives, cameras, and other peripherals to be connected simultaneously. For visualization, the PC provides one digital-only DVI output with a connector that has 24 active pins to support full-resolution display panels.

The unit has two PCIe mini-card slots for add-in modules such as fieldbus masters or additional storage. Firmware-level encryption keys are protected by an enabled fTPM 2.0 module, which supports secure boot and certificate storage. Each USB channel can supply up to 900 mA, allowing compatible scanners, portable drives, or hubs to draw power directly from the computer. Legacy serial devices connect through one RS-232 interface that terminates at a 9-pin D-Sub connector. This connection supports straightforward wiring to compatible drives, barcode readers, and other serial equipment used within an automated system.
