The C6525-1031-0050 industrial PC is built by Beckhoff for the C6 Industrial PC Units series and is intended as a scalable control node for automated production lines. By combining PC-based control technology with rugged hardware, the unit executes PLC logic, motion sequences, and supervisory HMI software from a single platform, reducing cabinet space while linking to field devices through its integrated communication ports. Two onboard Gigabit controllers provide 2 × 100/1000BASE-T ports for real-time Ethernet fieldbus communication.

Inside the enclosure, the board is powered by a regulated 22-30 VDC input, so it can draw directly from a 24 V plant supply. Four front-accessible ports rated at 4 × USB 2.0 connect scanners, flash drives, or keyboards, while display data is delivered through a single 1 × DVI output. Internal components can operate when the ambient temperature inside the cabinet remains between 0 °C and 55 °C. With the cabinet door closed, the permitted external ambient temperature range is 0 °C to 45 °C. One RS-232 interface supports legacy device integration, and a monitored power-status pin can supply 0.5 A to actuate a relay during startup diagnostics. During short outages, the integrated UPS circuit can supply 2.0 A to downstream control equipment. The unit withstands shocks of 5 g for 30 ms, helping protect internal connections during machine impacts.

Ingress protection is divided between an IP20 rating for the interior electronics and an outer housing rated at IP65, enabling cabinet installation in areas where washdowns occur. The aluminum chassis measures 330 × 275 × 82 mm, and its shallow 82 mm depth accommodates slim control panels. The unit weighs 4.74 kg, limiting the load placed on the mounting structure and simplifying physical handling during installation. When stored offline, its components remain stable from -20 to +65 °C, allowing the unit to be kept in an unconditioned storage area.
