The C6525-1022-0050 is an industrial PC produced by Beckhoff for the C6 Industrial PC Units series. It is intended for installation inside a control cabinet and can run TwinCAT or other real-time automation software that manages motion axes, I/O scanning, and visualization tasks on factory machinery. By integrating computing resources, storage, and conditioned DC power in a compact enclosure, the unit can replace separate PLCs and operator panels while providing deterministic control over production lines and test stations.

The electronics are supplied from a DC bus that can range from 22 V DC to 30 V DC, allowing operation on common 24 V control circuits. A front-end protection device rated at 16 A is required so upstream wiring can clear faults without damaging the internal regulators. During normal operation, the motherboard and peripheral loads draw about 0.5 A. When the integrated UPS activates, its output can support external field devices drawing up to 2.0 A during an orderly shutdown or a brief loss of input power. The unit can operate at a relative humidity of up to 95% without condensation. The electronics remain protected behind an IP20 inner housing, while the external face has a higher enclosure rating for machine-side areas that require protection from water.

The chassis has a width of 330 mm, a height of 275 mm, and a depth of 82 mm, allowing it to fit standard switchgear rows while leaving space for airflow around neighboring modules. The aluminum housing weighs 4.74 kg, allowing installation on a DIN rail or mounting plate without additional braces. Two GbE ports support separate control and diagnostic networks, while one serial interface provides connectivity for legacy devices. Four USB connectors accommodate removable media, service keyboards, and other compatible peripherals. Field wiring enters through screw terminals that accept conductors with a cross-sectional area of 1.5 mm². The front panel has an IP65 seal, allowing the computer to be mounted on cabinet doors exposed to dust or sprayed liquids.
