The BX5200 controller from Beckhoff in the BX Bus Terminal Controllers series offers robust industrial control. It supports 64 bus terminals (expandable to 255 with a K-bus), auto-detects data rates up to 500 kbaud, and uses a CANopen-based subsidiary bus system. It features an FSTN display with 2x16 illuminated characters, 2,040 digital I/O, and 512 analog I/O. A battery-backed clock and diagnostic LEDs with a joystick switch complete its design.
