The BC9100 controller from Beckhoff’s BC Bus Terminals series supports up to 64 bus terminals and weighs approximately 170 grams. It provides 512 digital and 128 analog I/O signals, delivers data transfer rates of 10/100 Mbit/s with auto-negotiation, and supports TwinCAT ADS and Modbus TCP protocols. The terminal draws 70 mA plus a quarter of the K-bus current (max 500 mA) and operates on 24 V DC (–15%/+20%). It also features two RJ45 ports for daisy-chaining or ring network topologies.
