The Beckhoff BC8150 from the BC Bus Terminals series is a robust bus terminal controller designed for industrial automation. It features an RS-232 D-sub bus interface and supports up to 64 bus terminals (extendable to 255 with K-bus extension). Powered by 24 V DC (-15%/+20%), it draws max. 320 mA input current with a 2.5� starting current factor and delivers 1750 mA for the K-bus. The BC8150 handles up to 1020 digital I/O and 128 analog I/O signals with a data transfer rate of 1.2�38.4 kbaud. It offers 512 byte input and output process images, supports KS8000, Modbus RTU/ASCII and Serial ADS protocols, and operates from -25 to +60 �C. Its compact design and max. 24 V DC/10 A power contact rating ensure reliable performance in harsh environments.
