The AM3011-0B01-0005 is a compact synchronous servo motor from Beckhoff in the AM Synchronous Servo Motors series. As a rotary drive unit, it converts commanded current from compatible AX-family inverters into accurate speed and position control for pick-and-place heads, dosing screws, and small indexing tables in automated equipment. Permanent-magnet excitation and closed-loop operation give the motor a fast torque response, which helps the axis follow short move profiles with minimal lag. Because the rotor is permanently excited, the drive can build torque quickly and maintain stable motion during frequent starts and stops.

The square mounting face has a side length of 40 mm, allowing direct attachment to machine frames and compact gear units that use the same footprint. Rotor position feedback is provided by a two-pole resolver, so the drive receives continuous angle information for commutation and stable control through acceleration and deceleration.
